Modcloth is an American e-retailer that was founded by Susan Gregg-Kroger and Eric Kroger. They sell affordable, independent designers' clothing and are based out of Pittsburgh, PA. ModCloth has an indie, retro, and vintage inspired kind of style that separates it from most modern retailers. They want women to feel confident while standing out and being true to themselves. ModCloth has built a strong community by utilizing blogging, interactive contests, and active involvement in social media sites. Even though they are so successful, they are hoping to expand their sales through a pop-up store and give customers a new experience to interact with their clothing.
As a group comprised of graphic and interior designers, we collaboratively conceptualized an effective campaign to launch ModCloth's very first pop-up store. Sojourn means a "temporary stay," referring back to the pop up's journey to a more confident individual and also the store itself, which moves from city to city.
Here are the renderings of our pop-up space along with supporting design elements, including signage, directional infographics, and packaging. Through the packaging, I wanted to give shoppers an experiene they would never forget. Each purhcase of jewelry and shoes comes in this custom box, reminiscent of a retro suitcase used for travfeling and covered in tourist stickers. I also designed necklace packaging, comoplete with a quote that relates to our in-store signage, and a survival kit that every girl can utilize on her night out.
Newfoundland is an island province of Canada with a rapidly declining economy. Their main industry is fishing, but due to strict regulations on overfishing, many have faced lay offs and unemployment. In 2012, Misty O'Connor founded Newfoundland Traditions to assist the caring people of the province and revive the economy through employment and tourism.
Our design team created an entire brand identity for Newfoundland Traditions, winning 1st place in our competition. We set out to have a traditional, iconic and universal logo that reflected the values and traditions of Newfoundland. We created an effective campaign including all sorts of promotional material: Business Cards, Letterheads, Calendars, Greeting Cards, Mugs, Apparel, Social Media Campaigns, an Interactive Map, Website, a mobile app, and much more.

Navi in Bottiglia is a fictitious, annual wine cruise hosted by Crystal Cruises and sponsored by the American Wine Society. Literally meaning "ship in a bottle" you can enjoy a luxurious 2 week vacation along our Looking Glass ship, where you will drink fine wine and sail to Tuscany, Italy, the largest wine capital in the country. Setting sail from October 4th to October 18th, you will be able to experience the harvest time.
As part of the campaign, the Navi in Bottiglia Cruise is hosting local wine tasting events in each city where guests can attend and receive an exclusive invitation to the cruise. This campaign features posters for the wine tasting and collector's bottles illustrating the three main parts of the trip: the cruise, the tour, and the tasting. It also includes an exclusive invitational brochure rolled up in a miniature wine bottle.
Gestalt is a German word meaning "form" or "shape." It is essentially associated with the saying "the whole is greater than the sum of its parts." The components of Gestalt are Similarity, Figure Ground, Proximity, Continuity, and Closure, which I paired with an image and icon representation. I chose a retro music representation, because music follows the Gestalt theory. Each instrument comes together as a harmony and melody to form a whole composition.
Here are several logos I created as a rebranding exercise for various non-profit organizations and small businesses.
The population of the Western Honey Bee has dramatically declined throughout the past few decades and is becoming a major problem because we rely on them to pollinate crops. This infographic illustrates the decline, possible causes, and why this issue is important.
As an avid hip hop fan, I love connecting with music artists (both local and abroad) and creating visual representations to complement their sounds. Here are some recent cover designs and illustrations that I enjoyed working on.
These are a few examples of email templates and e-campaigns that I designed for our monthly promotions at Albert Elovitz, Inc.
Positive Space is La Roche College's annual design show, which features a wide range of categories including illustration, typography, 3D modeling, and much more.
